Cybersecurity Manager
Summary
The Information Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the company’s security strategy to protect our information systems, data, and networks from cyber threats. The Information Security Manager will lead the development and execution of security policies, manage security operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cybersecurity trends and best practices. The Information Security Manager will report directly to the global IT Director.
Essential Job Functions

- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Lead and manage the IT security operations in the company, including training, and follow up on the outcome.
- Monitor and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into all aspects of the company’s operations and IT systems.
- Oversee incident response planning and investigation of security breaches.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
- Report on security status and incidents to senior management and the board of directors.
- Develop and manage the security budget.
- Choose and consolidate security systems across regions.
- Asses new IT systems from a cybersecurity perspective to verify that they follow the IT security policies.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility over direct report staff but may be responsible for coaching and training internal resources on cybersecurity best practices.
Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a professional office or home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Travel Requirements
Occasional travel to customer locations, internal meetings, and training may be required.
Required Education and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Advanced security certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or related certification.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in technology, software, or related industry
